Blessings to all of you on this very Good Friday!

As darkness begins to fall this evening and we head into Passover, and as we also remember our beautiful Savior’s sacrifice for us, I wanted to share what the Lord has been impressing upon my heart so very strongly for the past several weeks:

“This is going to be a very important Passover.”

We are so thankful for the Blood of Jesus that saves us, covers us, protects us, heals us, strengthens us, and cleanses us from all unrighteousness!!! The LORD is making a distinction between His people and those who are against Him, just as He did between the Israelites and Egyptians in the book of Exodus. We are marked and set apart by the powerful Blood, and judgment for the wicked will not touch us, but will bring freedom.

My husband and I have already experienced some of the blessings of Passover this week as a tornado went through our neighborhood late Tuesday night, uprooting trees and sending them through the roofs of several neighbors directly behind us. Our yard was messy and we had no power, but our house was otherwise unscathed. The storm literally barreled through our neighborhood and stopped at our home (seriously... it ran on the very outside edge of our our property line and stopped at the neighbor's fence)!!

I was so overwhelmed at the Lord's favor and protection when I saw that the Passover sash over our door had stayed securely in place! And, every single one of my neighbors whose homes were affected came out unhurt and had their immediate needs taken care of!

Thank You, Jesus, for the Blood! We love You, Lord, and we honor You this Passover as we wait expectantly to see Your mighty hand move across our land.
