Good Sunday afternoon!
We are so thankful for God’s provision and protection! After a fun-filled week of ice storms, falling trees, and power outages down here in Texas, I think we’re (mostly) back in business, although I’m told there are still many without power in some areas. Several months ago, while debating whether to purchase a warm, but rather floppy and ill-fitting sweater, the Lord whispered:
“Buy it. You’re going to need it this winter!”
And, I certainly have. Always listen to that still small voice!
The following is the last of three messages spoken to me concurrently on January 11th. As I said with the first one, please don’t shoot the messenger! Almost every woman I know has worked outside of the home. And, it’s important to take this within the context of Scripture, where we certainly see precedent for women being industrious and blessed.
But I do believe that He is really interested in cleansing and redirecting our way of thinking about things away from that of the world. Look at the beautiful way He describes the value of women! Are we truly being directed by Him in our choices regarding home, work, and identity, or are we just doing what society expects? He asks us to consider, so I hope that you will as you read.
As always, if you have prayer needs, please let me know and I will be lifting them up!

PART III: WOMEN
Wednesday January 11, 2023 – Between 4 and 5 pm
“Do you see what happens, My people, when society, and even My Church, no longer values the role of a woman? I have designed woman as a true crown of creation – a beauty to behold, indeed!
But are you truly happy now that you’ve left your homes to go to work like a man? I speak no condemnation here… for I have blessed the work of your hands as you’ve gone out into the workplace and the office space. Women are innovative and full of wisdom. Man could not function well without her counsel!
But look at your society and where it stands, and evaluate for yourselves whether this truly has been for the best. Do you not see the deterioration of the very fabric of culture? Was it truly the wisest choice to take all of that innovation, nurture, and counsel out away from the home and church and into the outside world? Again, I do not condemn you. I have blessed you! But, consider it, My people.
Women are the heart of the home. Is it really wise to remove the heart and send it away… fully expecting that heart to return and do twice or thrice the work? Now, I speak to husbands. If your wives were truly revered, honored, and valued in the HOME, they would be free to excel in ways that this culture cannot even imagine. ‘The hand that rocks the cradle rules the world.’ Yes, there is wisdom in that saying!
Women are to be valued, and honored, and lifted up, and extolled for who I have made them to be; not some construct of societal trends and expectations. Femininity is a beautiful thing, because I designed it that way.
Get your roles straight, My people… and it starts in the Church. Society will look to you for their example and moral fabric. I have created man, and woman – from man. This gender ludicrosity WILL be cleared up!”
I chuckled a little as I asked:
“Lord… is ‘ludicrosity’ even a word?”
And, I knew at this moment He was no longer speaking simply of the roles of women, but of the entire “gender confusion” issue being pushed on our culture. He’s mentioned this before![i] So, here was His reply:
“Yes, I have made language!
And, it is truly LUDICROSITY… what they have dreamed up.”
The Proverbs 31 Woman
“10 Who can find a wife of noble character?
She is far more precious than jewels.
11 The heart of her husband trusts in her,
and he will not lack anything good.
12 She rewards him with good, not evil,
all the days of her life.
13 She selects wool and flax
and works with willing hands.
14 She is like the merchant ships,
bringing her food from far away.
15 She rises while it is still night
and provides food for her household
and portions for her female servants.
16 She evaluates a field and buys it;
she plants a vineyard with her earnings.
17 She draws on her strength
and reveals that her arms are strong.
18 She sees that her profits are good,
and her lamp never goes out at night.
19 She extends her hands to the spinning staff,
and her hands hold the spindle.
20 Her hands reach out to the poor,
and she extends her hands to the needy.
21 She is not afraid for her household when it snows,
for all in her household are doubly clothed.
22 She makes her own bed coverings;
her clothing is fine linen and purple.
23 Her husband is known at the city gates,
where he sits among the elders of the land.
24 She makes and sells linen garments;
she delivers belts to the merchants.
25 Strength and honor are her clothing,
and she can laugh at the time to come.
26 Her mouth speaks wisdom,
and loving instruction is on her tongue.
27 She watches over the activities of her household
and is never idle.
28 Her children rise up and call her blessed;
her husband also praises her:
29 ‘Many women have done noble deeds,
but you surpass them all!’
30 Charm is deceptive and beauty is fleeting,
but a woman who fears the Lord will be praised.
31 Give her the reward of her labor,
and let her works praise her at the city gates.”
