Good morning!
Well, it has been a long time since I’ve had the opportunity to really sit down and spend the time necessary to thoughtfully prepare a post. The Lord throws us some real curveballs occasionally. But I’m simply amazed at how He has prepared us to face them head on when the time comes. What an honor to serve Him! The following verses have been continually upon my lips the past few weeks as we’ve been working with a young woman coming out of the occult:
“For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.”
-II Corinthians 10:4-6, NKJV
A few weeks ago, the Holy Spirit told me to hang my Passover sash once again over our front door as a show to the enemy that he has no rights to us or anyone on our property during this season we are in. There is NO power that can stand against the Mighty Name of Jesus or the Blood of the Lamb, and His Word trumps every other word!!
Very much out of necessity, what the Lord has been speaking to me lately has been for specific people and situations. But now that things are calming down, I’ll begin sharing with you a few things that I’ve had on the back burner for a while.

MODESTY IS MAKING A COMEBACK

The Lord has been speaking to me about how He is ushering in a new era of modesty. For several years, I have been troubled and baffled at how many, especially young women, are so willing to flaunt so very much skin – even (and perhaps especially so) in the church and in ministry leadership. More and more, it’s weighed heavily upon my heart. I know it’s also something I’ve personally been convicted over. So, as someone who has been exposed to some of the deeper, darker insides of the fashion industry, this word was very encouraging.
“Modesty is going to become very important in the days ahead, as My Spirit pours out upon this earth. Fashion designers (you know… THAT industry will be cleansed and purified for My glory, along with all of the others!) ...fashion designers will seek ways to create tasteful, but modest clothing. It will become a drive and passion.
This will not just be a fad or trend, but a work of My hand – My Spirit working through them. I am taking the arts back. Have I not said it? You will see it all around you, in every sphere. Entertainment, music, sports, pastimes, even the venues you sit in will reflect My glory, and yes, My presence. Pray it in, My people.
So many of you have prayed for so many things, an outpouring of My Spirit. But you’ve stopped short of actually believing WHAT THAT WILL LOOK LIKE, all that it will entail. Stop for a moment to imagine, My people. Seek it, desire it, and pray it in. My glory is coming, and I will not share it with another! Have I not said this? My glory is coming, and I will not share it with another! Get ready!
People will suddenly become mortified at their own clothing choices and will seek to change out their wardrobes. It’s going to get very creative – the innovative ways that old clothing will be recycled. I am the ultimate creativity-giver.
I speak mostly of women’s fashion… but also of men's, too. A wave of modesty in both presentation and desire will sweep over the land and beyond.
And, this confusion over gender will be cleared up very quickly! ‘Male and female, He created them.’ It is written. And, it is so.”
