Tuesday January 19, 2021 – Evening
As time wears on, I have spent more and more time going before the Lord, asking Him to correct any deviations on my part, to let me hear His voice clearly, to give me discernment, and to never allow me to listen to a stranger!
I am starting to see headlines of pastors capitulating to a Biden presidency, as well as prophetic voices repenting of the message they'd previously given. But, for my own part, I have felt a pause at such news... even a tight twinge in my spirit, and so I asked:
"Lord, what do You think of this? Have we all really missed the mark completely? And, if so, whose voice have we listened to?!?"
This is what He said in response:
"They're jumping the gun. Don't jump the gun."
"When He has brought out all His own, He goes before them, and the sheep follow Him, for they know His voice. A stranger they will not follow, but they will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers...
My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me." -John 10:4-5, 27, ESV
