A POST-ELECTION CALL

Word from November 20, 2024 | Originally released by Truth-Justice-Mercy on December 19, 2024

Good evening friends,

This message, which is the third in our post-election series, was spoken to me by the Father in the days and weeks following the election. I had a hard time pin-pointing an exact date to put on it, because He’s continued to stir the same message in me since that time. But it was on November 20th that He let me know that this was to be its own title in a series, so that is the date I’m going with.

Stand strong and stay the course!

# 3 BEWARE THE LETHARGY

A POST-ELECTION CALL

Wednesday November 20, 2024

“Beware the lethargy.

Do not go back to the same ol’ same ol.’ There is a temptation to fall into the complacent oblivion of thinking you can slack off now that ‘your guy won.’ But I am doing a new thing in the earth, and there is much work to be done!

There is a very heavy fog and a paralysis-inducing sleepiness that is trying to hit My Church. But this is certainly not a time to ‘check out’ for a while! The enemy has a barrage of attacks lined up—one right after the other—so it’s imperative that you stay on guard and keep your hand to the plow.

I give My beloved sleep, but you must discern the boundary between what rest I give and where the enemy is casting a spell to thwart the outpouring of My glory. Bind the spirit of witchcraft set against you, against your church, against your incoming government, and against the upcoming massive Kingdom harvest. Shake off your sleepiness and stupor, and plead the Blood of Jesus over all that concerns you. Do whatever you have to do to fight off the lethargy and stand your ground.

Know who you are in Me, and seek My face. I will lift the thick fog that surrounds you and the heaviness that pulls on your eyelids. Draw near to Me, and I will draw near to you. In My presence, you will find your mind renewed and limbs filled with strength again for the work at hand.”

As is typical when He has a message for the Church, the Father has given me several real-life illustrations. Has anyone else been ridiculously tired? No… just me? It all began on election night when I “crashed” into a deep sleep on the couch just after dinner. For weeks afterward, I had the hardest time fighting through this extreme lethargy as, even at the very same time, the Lord was warning me about it. I kept thinking, “Okay, Lord, I get it! So, can we now PLEASE be done with this terrible fog?!”

Then, true to the warning, all of my computers, phones, and logins were compromised in a big way… once again. I’d had somewhat of a manageable lull on that front for a couple of months, but it was as if the election set off a whole new wave of attacks and setbacks to push through.

And for the clincher, I even had a one-off hit of the paralysis He mentions. Years ago, when my thyroid was totally out of control, I would experience intermittent bouts of paralysis (caused, essentially, by sudden potassium crashes). I didn’t know what was going on at the time, but when it was finally diagnosed as such, I was surprised… because it’s not at all what I’d ever imagined paralysis to be like. There’s no straining, pushing, or trying. The muscles are just lax and simply do not obey your mental commands. So, it looks and feels like you’re very tired and utterly lazy. Quite frankly, it’s a confusing and faulty state of self-chiding (condemnation) for not having enough willpower or energy to get off the floor… or speak… or breathe. But the reality is a breakdown in communication between the brain and muscles. All the bashing and motivation you can muster won’t do much… but a quick infusion of potassium changes everything, restoring proper signal, function, and breathing.

And, so it also goes in a spiritual fog brought on by the enemy. Attempting to fight through such a thing in your own strength while heaping on the condemnation is absolutely unhelpful. But getting into the presence of the Father for an infusion of His life brings immediate restoration. Suddenly, you can hear His voice, your strength is renewed, and you are breathing richly of the Spirit of Life.

Praise God, He lifted me out of that miry health pit all of those years ago, and He preserved my life through every episode! And yet, the enemy will sometimes try to take us back to those places from which we have been completely set free. He’s such a liar.

Don’t stand for the lie. Don’t return to the vomit. Don’t wallow in the mud.

Awake, arise, and fight through the quagmire. Call upon the Lord to infuse you with life, give strength to your voice, and breathe life into your lungs. Do whatever it takes to stay alert and stand in victory… for we are surely on the Victor’s side!!

29“He gives strength to the weary

and increases the power of the weak.

30Even youths grow tired and weary,

and young men stumble and fall;

31but those who hope in the Lord

will renew their strength.

They will soar on wings like eagles;

they will run and not grow weary,

they will walk and not be faint.”
